This video will be a continuation on our Naruto series Breakdown and a deeper look at our main character Naruto. In today's video we will be looking at the sak ral chakra ,and how this chakra is expressed in Naruto. In the future, we'll look at how the seven main chakras are expressed with the rest of the main cast, because with the Naruto series, each cast member plays a pivotal role, and as a whole represent different themes and ideas.

The sak ral chakra is the second chakra out of seven , and is located below the navel, at the center of your lower belly, and in some teachings, its area of influence is expanded all the way to the genital area in both men and women. This chakra is associated with the emotional body, sensuality, and creativity. This deals with the realm of emotions and in turn relationships, and the ability to relate with one another.

To refer back to our previous video dealing with the root chakra. The root chakra is a step below the sak ral chakra, sitting at the base of the spine, and is often the starting point within our chakra system. We stated in our previous video, that Kurama was an expression of the root chakra, with the root chakra representing the areas in our life, like survival, material wishes, fear etc. This is a common trait that we all share as human beings, such as our wide range of emotions , and thoughts , centered on either the past or towards the future, and speaks to the commonality that defines our humanity.

With the sak ral chakra being a step above the root chakra, we can examine how Naruto deals with his emotions, the range of intensity and his maturity over the series. As we all know, Naruto is an orphan and as such, grew up without knowing what a family was, and spent his early childhood seeking, attention elsewhere, by committing pranks or being a clown, which only drew disdain from the villagers, who in return, Naruto grew up neglected , and its until he graduated from the ninja academy, that a sense of what is like to have family, would be born.

Naruto as a character is an open person, someone who's often outgoing, friendly and doesn't hide his emotions. Unlike his son Boruto,  who's also an outgoing individual, but where they differ is that Boruto hides his true feelings, not wanting to burden his troubles with others, and portrays himself one way to others, but in  the privacy of his home, we can see beneath the veil of his emotions. In contrast we can see and feel Naruto's wide range of emotions, from his declaration of wanting to be a hoe ka gay, to his definition of what it means to be a ninja,  the frustrations of not measuring up to his rivals, wanting to reunite his team, that he grew to love, and deeply care for, the everyday ups and downs of being a teenager, to eventually getting married , and fulfilling his lifelong dream of being hoe ka gay.

With all that in consideration, we can see the sak ral chakra being expressed here, with naruto's emotions being the key, and an insight to what he's thinking and feeling. And depending on the situations, and the intensity of it, we can see the root chakra being expressed here, whenever his feelings go from being upset to anger and then rage. Which shows us the close proximity between the two chakra points, but more importantly, the slippery slope of emotions, either use it wisely , by understanding your emotions, and dealing with your inner trauma, or be used by it, and become a force of self destruction.

By balancing the root chakra and moving on to the sak ral chakra, as Naruto matures, he isn't haunted nor does he seek attention, and validation outside himself, but during the battle between Pain, and the unexpected meeting between Naruto's father mina toe, a symbolic representation of the crown chakra,  and the explosion of intense emotions Naruto was going through, we see the calming influence his father brought, and how Naruto didn't succumb to his raw emotions of anger and rage, and become that force of self destruction mentioned earlier, but with the influence of his father, masters his root and sak ral chakra , and goes on to face Pain.

The art of storytelling is to educate, entertain and enlighten the audience. It is not meant to be complicated, and some might say, we're making a mountain out of a molehill by doing series breakdown such as this, but my response to those questions, would be, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and to their point of view. I'm only expressing my point of view, that I believe as a writer,  that the author is trying to convey to the audience.  I believe with these series, we will gain an insight into these wonderful characters, and we can further explore various themes that each character represents, and the lesson being taught.

Thank you for dropping by and hopefully in the near future I can cover more similar topics around these wonderful stories.
